Network Academy - A unique journey through our network
Delivering a great customer experience is vital to your business - the more understanding your people have about our networks, services and challenges, the easier it will be for them to explain issues and manage your customers' expectations
Time is money in every business and keeping your team up to speed with constantly changing technology and products can be difficult and expensive. Quite often, off the shelf training falls short of the mark failing to provide your people with the depth of knowledge they need in the most cost effective way.
The Network Academy is different. It's a training experience that offers a unique journey through our network, located in a live exchange. By giving them access to a working model of our network, your team gets to explore all the way from the exchange to the end customer’s premises, including poles, footway boxes and street cabinets, without even needing to leave the building.
Nothing beats hands-on knowledge when you’re trying to explain faults, issues and incidents to customers. We can run through all the common faults and explain what causes them. Show how different types of interference can affect broadband lines and demonstrate how we use handheld test equipment to diagnose and fix things.
If you’re worried about it being too technical, don’t be. We tailor every event to make it relevant and accessible to the audience on the day and we’re frequently commended on our ability to take the complexity out of the most technical subjects.
Our events are chargeable but they‘re tailored to meet your specific needs and offer great value for money. Whether your people need to know about the network itself, the products it enables or the techy bits in between, we can deliver an event to meet your needs. And if you have specific requirements – no problem, we can develop new modules to provide the experience and knowledge your people need.
